Review on Lorex LW2100 Series Surveillance System

Author: Rockia  |  Category: Tech Gadgets

Today I brought everyone the review on Lorex LW2100 Wireless Surveillance System.

The whole package includes:

- Surveillance system

- Receiver

- 2 AC adapter (identical, one for the camera and one for the receiver)

- Battery pack, substitude for AC adapter for the camera if you need it to be portable

-Necessary cables and manuals

First of first, I was surprised that I didn’t need to do any setup at all, everything is just plug-and-play. And the instruction on the receiver is quite sale-explained. I don’t want to talk too much on the deatil numbers that are on the package, let’s look at the actual effects of this camera.

(Sorry about my picture on TV since I couldn’t take a good one using my camera, the actual image is better than this one I show here.)

As you can see, the camera actually delivers color image to your monitoring system, in my case, it’s my old traditional TV. However, the camera is a off. Yet, when testing the night mode, it actually impresses me a lot.

When I tested it with all the lights off and it can show my plam very clearly on my TV while I use my hands to cover the camera. :P .

Just like the wired version, this camera is available in Futureshop and Bestbuy in April, if you want a surveillance system but you don’t want troublesome in setting up nor asking for professional set up, this Lorex LW2100 might be a good choice for you. It supports up to 4 wireless cameras as well.

4th Generation iPod Nano

It’s not officially shown up on Apple’s website yet; but this “rumors” is almost “near to be true” already, waiting for the verbal announcement of Steve Jobs.

Engadget confirms that there is an Apple media event for September 9th.

Apple will be holding a special event called “Let’s Rock” on September 9th where the new iPod Nano is expected to be released.

It’s slimmer and probably thinner. It’s got a ‘widescreen’ probably for the movies. To me, I accept this one more than the 3rd generation– it was a short fat one to me.But to be honest, no big changes to me and I still love my old iPod Nano.

Well, we will wait till it’s announced officially. When they are sold to the public, we can pop up to big stores like BestBuy and Futureshop to have a try.

Now, let’s take a look at the history of iPod Nano:

Best Buy's for Business!

Best Buy's for Business!

It has been almost 6 years since the first Best Buy store was launched in Canada. Now their E-commerce site rolled out a new user interface with multitude of changes. First and foremost, when you get into the main website, their heiarchy drop-down menus are much easier to manuever and easier to find what you need.

On the product page, they scrapped out the entire look and redesigned their informations in tabbed form and has now allowed customer feedback to their website; allowing people to give their personal suggestions and thoughts about the product.

Now with larger product images, it provides multi-angled product shots to give the customer a better shopping experience.

Rumour tells that the video game section will expand dramatically, teaming up with gamespot offering in-game screenshots, videos, compatible accessories tabs. Check it out!
